TRINIDAD CARNIVAL MONDAY MAKEUP ($115) INCLUDES:

NOTE:

  1. This is for Trinidad Carnival Monday Makeup Only and is available to people staying at hotels in or within 10 minutes of Port-of-Spain. [See full list in FAQ’s]
  2. Only one appointment per order can be booked. If you would like a Trinidad Carnival Monday makeup appointment for 2 people, then 2 separate bookings would need to be made.

Experience

Your “in-suite” makeup experience would be between 60-75 minutes, from start to finish with your personal travel makeup artist.

ARRIVAL

  • Your travel makeup artist arrives 5-10 minutes before your booked appointment time. (1 artist per 2 customers)
  • Once inside, your makeup artist would set up her makeup products at any available table or bar counter.

CONSULTATION

  • Display your costume details and express the primary color you would like on your eyes, to make your eyes stand out.
  • Elaborate on any facial feature that you would like to accentuate or tone down, with your assigned travel makeup artist.

CHAIR TIME

  • During calculated intervals, you are encouraged to examine your look to provide feedback and share your preferences for color, shading, and style.
  • A maximum of 1 hour and 15 minutes would be necessary to complete your makeup look from start to finish.

DEPARTURE

  • Your makeup artist is not satisfied until you are satisfied and mesmerized with your new gorgeous appearance
  • Before departing your hotel suite, your travel makeup artist would clean up her working space and remove any loose glitter or foundation powder from all surfaces, leaving the hotel furniture in its original condition.

WHERE IS FACE CANDY STUDIO LOCATED IN TRINIDAD?

  • Face Candy Studio Trinidad will not be open on Carnival Monday, however, makeup artists are dispatched throughout various hotels to complete appointments in hotel guest rooms on that day.

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO BOOK MONDAY MAKEUP?

  • The most popular time is 7am because the carnival bands meet up 9am or later on Carnival Monday.

 

DO I NEED TO BE A PART OF A CARNIVAL BAND TO GET MY MAKEUP DONE?

  • Anyone can book this makeup service regardless of whether they have a costume for the carnival parade or not.

 

DO YOU OFFER EYE MAKEUP SERVICE ONLY ON MONDAY?

  • No. On Carnival Monday, there is no eye makeup only service.

 

HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT FOR 2 OR MORE PEOPLE?

  • To book for 2, you must pay 2 separate deposits in 2 separate bookings. If you choose the same time in both orders, you would receive 2 separate makeup artists at the same time.

 

WHAT IF THERE ARE ZERO (0) APPOINTMENTS AVAILABLE AT A SPECIFIC TIME?

  • If there are (0) appointments available, then this means appointments are sold out at that specific time. Select a different appointment time to continue with your booking.

 

HOW MANY MAKEUP ARTISTS SHOULD I EXPECT?

  • You can expect 1 or 2 makeup artists simultaneously in your hotel suite.

 

CAN I BOOK A SPECIFIC ARTIST?

  • If you already know an artist on the team, we will try our best to accommodate the request. However, there’s a 10 percent chance she may already be booked at the time you request.

 

DO YOU OFFER ANY DISCOUNTS FOR GROUPS?

  • No. There are no discounts for Carnival Monday Makeup.

 

ARE THERE ANY UPGRADES?

  • Body glitter, body bronzer, or photos are not available on Carnival Monday.

 

COULD I WEAR OR BRING MY OWN LASHES?

  • Yes. However, bringing your own lashes or makeup of any sort does not decrease the price of your makeup appointment.

 

WHAT IF I’M LATE TO MY APPOINTMENT?

  • Due to limited availability and tight scheduling, we are unable to fulfill any appointments where the client is more than 20 minutes late.

 

WHAT IF MY ARTIST IS MORE THAN 30 MINUTES LATE?

  • You would have the option to wait for your artist and get a partial refund, or cancel your appointment and get a store credit in the full amount paid.

Payments

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I PAY MY DEPOSIT?

  • Clients will receive 2 emails: 1) The first email is an automated email receipt that is generated after a deposit payment on FaceCandyStudio.com. 2) The second email is a manual email filled with appointment details and balance information and an informational questionnaire, sent within 5 business days after booking. 3) The third email would have makeup artist details, and be provided by March 1st or earlier. Once the 1st email is received, the appointment has been reserved.

 

WHERE DO I PAY MY BALANCE?

  • The remaining balance is due via Zelle Banking App. First, enter “facecandystudio@gmail.com” to locate the business or owner name. Second, enter your remaining balance as indicated above or on the  invoice you received after booking. Third, enter the full name of original buyer or the order number in the memo.

 

WHAT IF I DO NOT HAVE OR USE ZELLE BANKING APP?

  • There are other non credit card payment options available for both U.S. and Non U.S. clients. DM or WhatsApp the Face Candy Studio team prior to booking.

 

WHAT IF I MISS MY BALANCE PAYMENT DEADLINE?

  • It is the client’s responsibility to abide by the assigned balance payment due date. If the deadline is missed, Face Candy Studio has the right to apply a late fee to the balance payment, or cancel the carnival makeup appointment entirely.

 

CAN I SELL OR TRANSFER MY MONDAY APPOINTMENT TO SOMEONE ELSE?

  • The short answer is ‘no.” Due to the complexities of scheduling, clients are forbidden from transferring their appointment to another person who is not staying in the same guest room as them.

 

WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?

  • All makeup deposits are final and are forfeited if a client is unable to make the appointment under any circumstance. Exceptions are made if a carnival is canceled citywide 7 or more days in advanced. Now, if a client has an unfavorable experience, and Face Candy Studio is unable to correct it on the same day, then a store credit would be issued to the client.
