Your makeup experience would be between 60-75 minutes, from start to finish. Your experience may extend up to 90 minutes if you book any upgraded services.
CHECK-IN
- Upon arrival, be greeted by your fairy godmother or friendly hostess, who’s here to make things happen.
- Unload any extra bags or costumes with the hostess to free your hands for self-expression and movement.
- At your convenience, digitally check-in to your appointment to alert your artist to prepare her makeup station.
- To relax your mind, sip on something bubbly and delicious, and munch on nourishing bites
- Mix and mingle with fellow carnival influencers and queens on plush couches outside the salon before your party is called in.
CONSULTATION
- Once inside the salon, describe your comfort level, past experience, and present goals with mink eyelashes.
- Display your costume details and the primary color you would like, to make your eyes stand out.
- Elaborate on any facial feature that you would like to accentuate or tone down, with your assigned artist
- Relax, as a bright, glitter tattoo is meticulously applied to your body.
CHAIR TIME
- To your delight, your beauty experience would include pampering from 3 or more of our expert makeup artists.
- Once you sit in a makeup chair, you can literally close your eyes and let the stresses of the world melt away with the sweet sounds and vibes of groovy soca.
- During calculated intervals, you are encouraged to examine your look to provide personal preferences and ideas to enhance your top facial features and expression.
- Indulge in airbrush makeup application as a cool mist is blown evenly across your face for a perfectly smooth, radiant skin surface.
BODY GOALS
- With an upgraded experience, luxuriate in the gentle touch of glitter or bronzer along your entire body surface

PHOTOSHOOT
- Escape into the celebrity and influencer world with an all-eyes-on-you complimentary headshot photoshoot.

- Once you are satisfied and mesmerized with your new gorgeous appearance, smile and wave to the roaming photographers and cameramen.

WHERE IS FACE CANDY STUDIO LOCATED IN MIAMI?
- Face Candy Studio will be at Residence Inn by Marriott, 10234 NW 19th Street. Doral FL (Approximately 10 minutes away from parade start point.)
DO I NEED TO BE A PART OF A CARNIVAL BAND TO GET MY MAKEUP DONE?
- Anyone can book this makeup service regardless of whether they have a costume for the carnival parade or not.
DO YOU OFFER EYE MAKEUP SERVICE ONLY?
- Yes. Eye makeup service includes eyebrows, glitter shadow, and lashes, plus refreshments. It does not include gems or rhinestones of any kind. To get a coupon code to book eye makeup only, DM or WhatsApp the Face Candy Studio team.
HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT FOR 2 OR MORE PEOPLE?
- Select the time that all the group members would like to do their appointment. Then, select the total number of people in the group that is getting their makeup done. Then click the pink Add-to-Bag button. All appointments on carnival day would be completed at the same time by multiple artists.
WHAT IF THERE ARE ZERO (0) APPOINTMENTS AVAILABLE AT A SPECIFIC TIME?
- If there are (0) appointments available, then this means appointments are sold out at that specific time. Select a different appointment time to continue with your booking.
HOW MANY MAKEUP ARTISTS ARE AVAILABLE?
- Usually there are anywhere between 10 and 30 makeup artists in the Face Candy Studio popup salons. For Miami Carnival, you can expect closer to the higher end of that range.
CAN I BOOK A SPECIFIC ARTIST?
- Clients usually see the next available artist on the Face Candy Studio team. However, upon arrival, a client may provide the name of the specific makeup artist she wants, to the hostess.
DO YOU OFFER ANY DISCOUNTS FOR GROUPS?
- Yes. A $10 discount for each group member can be used to book 6 or more appointments in one transaction. Use coupon code: GROUPLUV. Once a group discount has been applied, the group leader is responsible for paying 6 or more balances. If the group falls below 6 members, the group discount would be forfeited, and the original discount would be removed.
- Also, free makeup appointments are available via monthly giveaways.
ARE THERE ANY UPGRADES?
- Body glitter and body bronzer are considered upgrades and can be booked here.
ARE THERE ANY HEALTH RULES REGARDING COVID-19?
- To maintain distance and great air circulation, clients are asked to wait briefly outside the salon until they can be escorted to a makeup chair. Also, clients are welcome to wear masks, and use the hand sanitizers available, before and during their eye makeup session to decrease extended exposure to artists.
IS IT SAFE TO BRING MY COSTUME?
- Yes. Feathered backpacks would be tagged and gently placed aside on carpeted floors or tables, depending upon the size.
COULD I WEAR OR BRING MY OWN LASHES?
- Yes. However, bringing your own lashes or makeup of any sort does not decrease the price of your makeup appointment.
CAN I BRING MY FRIEND OR HUSBAND WITH ME TO MY APPOINTMENT?
- Due to limited space, any friend who does not have an appointment would have to wait outside the popup salon which is usually in a hotel lobby or hallway.
Payments
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I PAY MY DEPOSIT?
- Clients will receive 2 emails: 1) The first email is an automated email receipt that is generated after a deposit payment on FaceCandyStudio.com. 2) The second email is a manual email filled with appointment details and balance information, sent within 4 days of booking. Once the 1st email is received, the appointment has been reserved.
WHERE DO I PAY MY BALANCE?
- The remaining balance is due via Zelle Banking App. First, enter “facecandystudio@gmail.com” to locate the business or owner name. Second, enter your remaining balance as indicated above or on the invoice you received after booking. Third, enter the full name of original buyer or the order number in the memo.
WHAT IF I DO NOT HAVE OR USE ZELLE BANKING APP?
- There are other non credit card payment options available for both U.S. and Non U.S. clients. DM or WhatsApp the Face Candy Studio team prior to booking to learn more of these options.
WHAT IF I MISS MY BALANCE PAYMENT DEADLINE?
- It is the client’s responsibility to abide by the assigned balance payment due date. If the deadline is missed, Face Candy Studio has the right to apply a late fee to the balance payment, or cancel the carnival makeup appointment entirely.
CAN I SELL OR TRANSFER MY APPOINTMENT TO SOMEONE ELSE?
- Sure. A transferred appointment means that the balance for the original makeup appointment is going to to be paid in advance (to Face Candy Studio) by either the original customer OR the new customer. It is the responsibility of the original customer to figure out that detail. Also, the name on the original appointment stays intact. Therefore, on carnival day, the new customer should have two things to enter the salon successfully: 1) The full name of the original customer, and 2) A “Balance Paid” Face Candy Studio email indicating that the balance payment was received.
WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?
- All makeup deposits are final and are forfeited if a client is unable to make the appointment under any circumstance. Exceptions are made if a carnival is canceled citywide 7 or more days in advanced. Now, if a client has an unfavorable experience, and Face Candy Studio was made aware of it and is unable to correct it on the same day, then a store credit would be issued to the client.
