The Face Candy Studio makeup artist is critical to the masquerader’s experience on Carnival Day. She must be able to communicate with the customer to get a good description of her desired carnival makeup look. Then the makeup artist need to take her years of makeup training and apply foundation makeup, eye shadow, and gems (amongst other things) to the masquerader’s face in an aesthetically pleasing manner. The result should be a mini masterpiece that is replicated time and time again throughout carnival morning. If this describes you, then keep reading.

REQUIREMENTS

Must be 100% available on Carnival Day for Face Candy Studio clients.
Must have a makeup kit that can handle multiple clients (Gems and rhinestones are not necessary).
Must have experience working on various complexions from fair to dark.
Must be comfortable working alongside other makeup artists who may have more skill than you.
Must be able to follow instructions, and work in a fast paced environment.

PROCESS

Sign up below for a 45-minute virtual casting call time slot.
Look out for a calendar invitation to join the virtual casting call on the next and upcoming Friday.
Be prepared with your full makeup kit as products would need to be showcased.
Be ready to showcase one or 2 makeup skills (even if you are a returning artist).
Once virtual casting call is complete, retrieve a casting call email to determine next steps.
The successful candidate would receive a work contract for the carnival day gig within 48 hours.
